The Vermont Symphony Orchestra's 2010 Made in Vermont Music Festival, conducted by Anthony Princiotti, shines the spotlight on several of our wonderful principal players. The "All Stars" lineup includes Albert Brouwer in a virtuoistic flute concerto by CPE Bach, and principal French horn Shelagh Abate soloing in Rachmaninoff's luscious Vocalise. In a Made in Vermont "first" we feature harpist Heidi Soons playing Handel's spirited Harp Concerto. A world premiere commission from Vermont composer Don Jamison and Mozart's Symphony No. 29 offer glory moments for all!.
